Cedric Boccara

ABOUT

Cédric Boccara is a self-taught Franco-Israeli painter, born in 1969 in Ashkelon, Israel. Now based in Paris, he develops a body of work deeply rooted in a search for meaning and spirituality. His artistic journey, guided by a heightened sensitivity to the unseen, leads him to explore the intangible dimensions of existence through painting.

In 2022, he presented the exhibition Tétragramme at the French Institute of Thessaloniki, Greece. This series of canvases explores the relationship between personal intention and a universal spiritual dimension, highlighting how the act of making a wish establishes a connection with the divine, the light, or the energy in which one believes.

Cédric Boccara has also exhibited his work in Paris, Madrid, and Lisbon, sharing his artistic vision with an international audience. His work, marked by an introspective approach, invites viewers into a sensory and meditative experience, where painting becomes a vehicle for emotion and profound reflection.

Through his creations, Cédric Boccara seeks to make the ineffable perceptible, offering a bridge between the visible and the invisible, the tangible and the intangible. His art, filled with sincerity and depth, is an invitation to contemplation and connection — both with oneself and with the spiritual world.
